Haedong Kumdo - Korean Sword art is the martial art that we practice. Wooden swords are used in practice to attack and defend ourselves from 1 or more attackers. As with most martial arts we have forms that must be learnt to progress, up to black belt. With each form, you must also learn a draw and a smaller form that you do together with another student.

The class times are every Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The club (Do-jang) is situated at 6 Eike Ave, Bainsvlei, Bloemfontein.

Direction to get to the Do-Jang
Take Nelson Mandela drive to Langenhovenpark(over the N1).
Turn left on Abrahamskraal (you will pass Mercedes Benz, fruit and veg, Bainsgame lodge on Nelson Mandela Drive, it is the next turn you can take after Kenilworth road)
Turn Right on KareeboomAve(gravel road) at Easy Storage sign (Its the 4th road that you can take on your right hand side, you will pass the police station and a church and Easy storage on your left, and the road you must take on the right is at the Easy Storage Sign)
Turn Left on Eike Ave (gravel road) (This is the first left turn you can take. +- 550m)
Continue on Eike Ave and you will see our Do-jang on your right hand side( +- 600m), there is parking in front of the Do-jang. Attached is a picture of the Do-jang.

You are welcomed to come see/join us for practice. The first three classes is for free.
