About us:
The Speech And Drama Academy is a Perfoming arts academy for kids and Adults based at the Joburg theatre( In Johannesburg, Braamfontein and the States Theatre in Pretoria.We offer Saturday drama classes for kids, full-time drama classes for adults, short courses in drama for adults and public speaking classes for adults, groups and organizations.
We thrive ourselves in providing a good foundation for anyone that would like to work in the entertainment industry, building confidence or simply wanting to learn a new skill. We ensure that as soon as you leave our Academy you are equipped with tools to help you become successful in any field you choose to explore.
For those who choose to focus on acting as a career, The Speech And Drama Academy ensures that they
are with you every step of the way. We make sure that our students or alumni are always in the forefront of what is happening in the industry when it comes to Jobs, auditons, networking and other opportunities.
What we offer:
Kids Classes
Our kids classes are held at the Joburg theatre and The States Theatre every Saturday from 9am-12. The classes are split according to their age groups.
9am-10 am(3 years to 7 years)
10am-11 am(8 years 12 Years)
11 am-12 pm(13 years 17 Years)

Our classes include
Voice
Acting
Physical Theatre
Improvisation
Public Speaking and an introduction to TV acting.
