Wow!! Kerry Betz has been an excellent and patient teacher. With all the drowning incidences we hear about that takes place at homes itself, I thought it best to get my son to learn how to swim and most importantly how to be safe in the water. My son has become confident which make me as a parent comfortable to allow him to be in our pool at home. His learnt so much and is becoming better with each lesson. I am so grateful to have found a teacher such as Kerry. Keep up the great work :)

Swimming has always been my dream, but fear stopped me! At the age of 42, I decided to face my fear, and to also tick this off my bucket list. This was the biggest challenge of my life. I lacked confidence & I felt insecure. But with perseverance, determination, and an excellent coach, my dream of swimming was realised. Coupled with being fearful, I also had issues with my neck and shoulders, so I didn't have upper body strength, which added to the challenge. To assist me, Kerry came up with exercises that I did during my lesson. She tailored my lesson to my personal needs. When I felt like quitting, Kerry kept pushing me and encouraging me. Even when I didn't have faith in myself, Kerry had enough for the both of us. When I look back at my swimming journey, I am in awe of my accomplishments. I often think to myself “If I had quit, I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this”. It is the most exhilarating feeling to be able to do the different strokes and to float. Thank you, Kerry.

Learning to swim has been an amazing journey for me. I never thought I will be so comfortable and relaxed in water . This is is the best decision I have ever made in my life...Thanks to my couch Kerry who has made this experience so fulfilling and enjoyable..Keep remind me to take my time and enjoy during the lesson ...reassuring that I can do this regardless of my fears and anxiety. Thanks so much for and will never miss my lesson for anything

Oh my, I was sooo scared of the water, but needed my baby to be water safe, as we have a pool at home. I am so grateful to Kerry for helped me get over that fear as now I am able to help my baby become water safe. I really feel a sense of achievement for myself, and pride when getting into the water with my baby, it is really a special time for us. Thank you Kerry for your awesome patience, and continued friendly words of motivation.

To Kerry and Chad All I can say is ....Wow As you know Mohammed has been with you guys for less than a year . And now at only 4 and a half he has learnt more than I ever thought he would. He started off as a child who loved water but was very afraid of it… now he can’t wait to jump in, doing humpty dumptys and so many fun swimming tricks. I look forward to my Saturday mornings just to watch how much he has progressed and not forgetting how friendly and accommodating you are. Both you and Chad have become friends to me and as a paranoid parent your attitude was very important. So thank you, thank you for always listening to me, thank you for accommodating my queries regarding Mohammed and his swimming lessons, thank you for the advice and encouragement (been a first time mum isn’t easy) and most importantly….. Thank you both for teaching my little angel, your swimming techniques are fantastic, he has learnt so much,has become friendlier, stronger, confident and competitive which is a great thing as it pushes him to do even better, thank you for making my baby water safe. I would recommend anyone to Kerry at Swim4life–ptn. Dear Aunt Kerry Warm greetings to you mam. I just could not contain my excitement and you were, needless to explain, the most immediate and appropriate person to share that excitement with. Last Friday my sons school held an awards ceremony for there grade, and your contribution was duly acknowledged, awarded and rewarded. I think the award belongs to you as much as it belongs to your student. Those in the know say that a teacher's reward lies not in quantifiable material/financial terms, but in seeing her efforts at moulding a person from a mound of pliant and shapeless clay into a shape that is an object of delight and a beauty to behold.
