Description
Our unique, internationally acclaimed, self-development programme aims to build confidence and communication skills in students aged 5-18 years. Presentation skills, creativity and balanced theatre arts are also part of our classes.

The curriculum has been developed, tried and tested over 40 years. Teachers are well trained in the Helen O'Grady Drama System. Students attend classes once a week for an hour, and enjoy a fun-filled, well structured lesson.

At the end of the second term, parents and friends are invited to view a Presentation Day at the Academy, to experience firsthand what happens during classes.

During the fourth term, each class works on a short, scripted production which they put on for parents and friends at the end of the year. This is a huge highlight for students and parents alike!

Classes in Port Elizabeth take place in Uitenhage, Linton Grange, Walmer, Summerstrand and Newton Park. Several schools run our extra-mural drama programme straight after school, on the premises.
