At Gillies swim school we are dedicated and so passionate about what we do with 10 years of teaching 8 of which have been in Richards bay and swimming experience of over 20 years.We teach water safety, learn to swim, learn to stroke, stroke correction, marathon training and much more for all ages 6 months to adult. We teach all ages and all levels. Our school is open all year round, with a heated indoor pool at the Virgin active (only indoor heated pool in Richards bay and empangeni) as well as an outdoor heated pool in meerensee. Our instructors are fully qualified and registered to swim south Africa, we have first aid and CPR qualifications as well as a valid police clearance. Ashleigh has Springbok colours for synchronised swimming, Learn to swim instructors, level one coaches and baby swimming certificates and is passionate about teaching swimming. Swimming lessons are a basic life skill and every child has to learn how to swim, we Pride our selves with the best results results! water safety can be as quick as 3 to 6 months and learning to swim can take anything from 6 to 12 months with us depending on the learner.
