Muhluri Pre-school and Aftercare Centre was established in January 2014 and registered with the Department of Social Development on 06 January 2015. At Muhluri Pre-school and Aftercare Centre we understand the importance of providing care and structure beyond the school day to learners. It is for this reason that we provide after school care for Grade R learners and a Homework Centre for Grades 1 to Gr 9 learners.

This service provides good after school care for working parents and assist learners who need the structure of a school routine and classroom. Homework is assisted and learners have the opportunity to access information for school assignments from the encyclopaedias and from nearby/local library. Learners have access to the internet for research purposes only and under strict supervision.

Homework is supervised to the best of our ability at the Aftercare Centre. We also offer early childhood development to kids aged 3 months to Grade R, weekend care, night care, Winter and Spring holiday programmes and a shuttle service to and from schools in and around Alexandra, Bramley View, Lombardy East & West and surrounding suburbs. We have CCTV cameras at our centre to ease the parents stress in terms of the kids' security and for our sanity state.

The operator of the shuttle service is registered and permitted/licensed by the Department of Roads and Transport to ferry learners from pre-school age to university learner age. The operator is also a member in good standing at Alexandra School Transport Organisation (ASTO) and with Gauteng Education Transport Services (GETS). We are also licenced to transport people of all ages from Gauteng Province to different destinations within the borders of South Africa on special events and back to Gauteng Province (that is, to Church gatherings, funerals, weddings, stokvels, sporting events etc,). We are Covid-19 requirements compliant and open. All protocols will be observed. We pride ourselves with small classes.
